Number of Players: Usually played between 3 - 6 players.

Deck of Cards: A standard 52 - card deck is used.

Objective: The goal is to have the best three - card hand. The hands are ranked in a specific order similar to poker hands but with some differences. For example, a "trail" (three cards of the same rank) is a very strong hand, followed by a "sequence" (three consecutive cards of the same suit), etc.
